Our Workforce
2008 Resolution Copper employee satisfaction survey
Each year, Resolution Copper conducts an independent survey to determine what we're doing right and where we need to improve from the perspective of our workforce.
The 2008 survey was conducted during a Resolution Copper group meeting in Superior on July 21. Fifty-nine of 68 full-time employees (or 87 percent of our full-time workforce), 13 Level 1 contractors (independent contractors who report to a Resolution Copper supervisor), and three summer interns completed the survey. Because of this high survey response rate (87 percent), results constitute a census rather than a sample of employees, meaning the results generalize to all employees without sampling error.
Confidentiality and open sharing of results
Resolution Copper survey respondents were told to omit their names or other identifying information from the survey form so that all would feel safe to share their true feelings regarding their employer and their workplace. At a follow-up meeting in early August, all employees were provided with a copy of the detailed report findings, including a summary analysis of the major opportunities and challenges inside Resolution Copper.
