Anthony’s journey with Resolution Copper started five years ago when he joined as a geologist at the core facility. As someone who grew up around mining, Anthony knew the importance of the work he was doing—but he also saw the potential to do more. Over time, his ambition and dedication led him to new opportunities. From geologist, he advanced to become a drilling supervisor, and now, he serves as an Environmental Advisor, playing a key role in ensuring that mining practices are sustainable and responsible.

For Anthony, working at Resolution Copper isn’t just a job—it’s personal. “You’re not just here to get the copper and get out,” he says. “You have roots here, and that makes you care about the land you’re mining.” Growing up in the Globe-Miami area, Anthony understands the deep connection between the land and the community. His family has been involved in mining for generations, which gives him a unique perspective on the importance of balancing the region’s rich mining heritage with a commitment to environmental stewardship.

“Being from here makes you more invested,” Anthony explains. “You care about doing things right, not just for the company, but for the land and the people that live here. It’s not just about extracting copper—it’s about making sure the land is cared for, too.”

Anthony is particularly proud of Resolution Copper’s dedication to hiring local talent and fostering growth from within. “There’s a lot of room for growth at Resolution. You can move from department to department if you’re qualified, and people are always moving up, which opens up new opportunities.” His own career is proof of this, and he’s excited to see where the future takes him. Looking ahead, Anthony hopes to continue growing with the company while maintaining his focus on environmental protection.
