$8.9 Million Strong: Investing in the Copper Triangle’s Future
At Resolution Copper, mining means more than moving rock — it means moving communities forward.
This Economic Development Week, we’re celebrating the partnerships, investments, and milestones that are helping the Copper Triangle thrive. Since 2019, we’ve invested more than $8.9 million into projects that drive long-term growth — from workforce programs and school upgrades to trail revitalization, tourism boosts, and business development.
Here’s a closer look at what that looks like on the ground:
Superior and Rebuild Superior Inc.
We’ve made a multi-year commitment to the Town of Superior and Rebuild Superior Inc. to help diversify the economy, grow the local workforce, support tourism, and beautify the community.

Across the Copper Triangle: Globe, Miami, Gila County & Kearny
We’re investing in revitalization projects that bring new life to historic spaces and create opportunities for new businesses. With $440,000+ in recent investments including, support for the Michelson Building business incubator in Globe and Gila County, downtown enrichment in Miami, and ongoing planning for a large-scale project in Kearny.

Legends of Superior Trails
Outdoor recreation supports tourism and local wellness. We recently invested $300,000+ in trailhead upgrades at Queen Creek Canyon, enhancing one of Superior’s top assets.
Planning & Studies
We’re supporting smart growth with data-driven planning. By partnering with Elliott D. Pollack Co. on housing, tourism, labor, and airport strategy studies. We’ve collaborated with Espiritu Loci to host economic development workshops in Superior, Miami, Kearny, and at Boyce Thompson Arboretum.
The Good Neighbor Agreement
One of our proudest milestones? The Good Neighbor Agreement, a first-of-its-kind collaboration with 23 partners across the Copper Triangle. This agreement ensures open dialogue and shared input throughout the life of the project, reinforcing our commitment to listen, engage, and grow together.
Award-Winning Impact
In 2024, Resolution Copper and Bryan Seppala were honored with the Arizona Association for Economic Development’s Provider of the Year Award — a nod to the work our team does every day to strengthen the region.
What’s next?
We’re just getting started. From trails to trades, tourism to teachers, we’re building a smarter, stronger Copper Triangle, together.
