Resolution Copper in the Community | June 2026 Recap

From classrooms and baseball fields to community meetings and food banks, June was filled with opportunities to connect, collaborate, and give back across Arizona.

Building strong communities starts with showing up.

Throughout June, Resolution Copper employees partnered with local organizations, educators, tribal communities, nonprofit groups, elected officials, and regional leaders to support education, strengthen relationships, invest in youth, and help build a brighter future for the Copper Corridor and beyond.

Here’s a look back at some of the moments that made June memorable.

Welcoming Our Communities

This month we welcomed several groups to learn more about the Resolution Copper project, including Apache Junction residents, a Legislative District 7 candidate, and representatives from the Hopi Tribe and Zuni Pueblo.

These tours provide an opportunity to answer questions, share updates, and continue the open dialogue that helps build understanding and lasting relationships with our neighboring communities.

Celebrating Community Leadership

June also gave us the opportunity to celebrate organizations making a difference across the region.

Resolution Copper participated in both the Mesa Chamber of Commerce and Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Awards, recognizing the businesses and community leaders helping strengthen Arizona’s economy and local communities. It was an honor to be named 2026 Large Business of the Year by both the Mesa Chamber of Commerce and the Globe-Miami Regional Chamber of Commerce.

We also joined leaders from across the region during the Pinal Partnership Breakfast with Pinal County city managers and participated in the Arizona Association for Economic Development Leadership Retreat, continuing important conversations about Arizona’s future.

Inspiring the Next Generation Through STEM

One of the month’s highlights was supporting the Arizona Diamondbacks Science of Baseball Workshop.

For the first time, the workshop was hosted at Chase Field on a game day, giving more than 40 Arizona educators an unforgettable experience that blended baseball with hands-on STEM learning. The program equips elementary and middle school teachers with engaging curriculum designed to inspire more than 7,000 students each year through real-world science, engineering, technology, and mathematics.

We were especially proud to see four teachers from Superior Unified School District participate, representing their community while bringing new ideas back to their classrooms.

Supporting Youth and Families

Strong communities are built by supporting one another.

Resolution Copper partnered with The Boxed Up Project to deliver grief support kits to the East Valley YMCA, helping provide resources for children and teens participating in summer youth mental health programs.

Later in the month, our employees volunteered with the Superior Food Bank, packing and delivering food to local families during two community service events.

Every volunteer hour represents another opportunity to make a positive difference close to home.

Investing in Community Partnerships

Throughout June, Resolution Copper continued collaborating with local organizations and community leaders.

Our quarterly Community Working Group meeting brought together stakeholders for meaningful conversations about local priorities while supporting a local catering business for the event.

We also partnered with the Town of Kearny as work began on a hydrological study that will help inform future community planning efforts.

During the month, our team shared project updates with members of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration (SME) Maricopa Section and continued answering community questions about the Town of Superior Water Agreement, reinforcing our commitment to transparency and ongoing dialogue.

Celebrating Youth Through Sports

Sports bring communities together, and June was full of opportunities to support young athletes across Arizona.

Resolution Copper proudly sponsored the Arizona Diamondbacks Inter-Tribal Youth Baseball & Softball Tournament, celebrating teamwork, sportsmanship, and opportunity for Native youth from across the region.

We were also honored to sponsor the 56th George Belvado Jr. Baseball Tournament in San Carlos, continuing a long-standing tradition that brings families and communities together through baseball.

Looking Ahead

Every meeting, volunteer project, classroom experience, community tour, and partnership reflects something bigger than a single event.

They are opportunities to listen, learn, build relationships, and invest in the people and places that make Arizona strong.

Thank you to our employees, community partners, educators, volunteers, tribal leaders, local governments, nonprofits, and neighbors who worked alongside us throughout June.
