Vicky Peacey

President and General Manager

Vicky comes from a mining family- her father, sister, brother-in-law, and her husband are all miners. She attended the University of Western Ontario, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Geoscience and a Master of Science Degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering. From 2010 to 2021, Peacey was the Senior Manager Permitting and Approvals at Resolution Copper. She managed all federal, state and local agency approvals, agreements and permits and makes sure that the company is sensitive to the environment and cultural heritage. She has been with Rio Tinto since 2002.

Sterling Hundley

Sterling Hundley

Financial Operations Officer

Sterling oversees Resolution Copper’s financial planning, reporting, accounting, treasury and other commercial aspects of the business. He has been with Resolution Copper since 2006 and has over three decades of finance experience, including 16 years in the oil & gas industry with ConocoPhillips where he led financial reporting activities for the company’s Risk Management and Remediation team. Sterling is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Arizona State University.

Curtis Thomas

Curtis Thomas

General Manager – CSP, Cultural Heritage, and Permitting

With over 20 years of experience in corporate communications, stakeholder management, and social performance, Curtis is renowned for his strategic approach to fostering community partnerships and sustainable development on large complex projects. His career highlights include leading corporate affairs at Shell Polymers and BP America, managing significant social investment budgets, negotiating stakeholder agreements, and working on the ground in rural communities across America to advance transparent two-way dialogue and mutually beneficial partnerships.

Curtis’s leadership will advance our mission and strengthen relationships with local communities and stakeholders. We are excited about the positive impact he will have as he leads our Communities and Social Performance, Permitting and Native Affairs teams.

Rob Tobin

Rob Tobin

Manager, Underground Operations & Maintenance

Rob leads the Underground Operations & Maintenance Team, which is responsible for maintaining and operating the underground critical assets. Before joining Resolution Copper, Rob worked for Cementation on shaft sinking projects in Timmins Ontario Canada, Sudbury Ontario Canada, and 10 Shaft at Resolution Copper as an Electrical Superintendent. He has a Business Administration and Marketing Diploma from Canadore College, and an Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma from Cambrian College. Rob has been with Resolution Copper since 2017.

Brad Lingard

Brad Lingard

Business Partner, Health, Safety, Environment & Security

Brad leads the Resolution Copper Health, Safety, Environment & Security team supporting the plan to permit and build a safe and environmentally sensitive mine. Before joining Resolution Copper, Brad led HSE teams at other Rio Tinto operations and projects in the US, Peru & Australia and has been with Rio Tinto since 2001.

Tyson Nansel

Tyson Nansel

Principal Advisor, Communications

Tyson manages Resolution Copper’s internal and external communications. Before he came to Resolution Copper, Tyson was the Vice President of External Affairs for the United Food Bank in the metro Phoenix Area. He has been with Resolution Copper since 2022 and has over 10 years of experience working in Communications and Public Relations. Tyson has a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Arizona State University and is an Arizona native.
