Celebrating Indigenous Youth at NABI 2025

Resolution Copper was proud to return as Presenting Sponsor of the 2025 Native American Basketball Invitational (NABI) — and this year was the biggest one yet. With 204 Native American basketball teams representing over 160 Tribal Nations and competing in more than 500 games, NABI 2025 brought together young Indigenous athletes from across the U.S. for a week of competition, connection, and community.

NABI isn’t just about basketball. It’s about creating opportunity. The tournament includes a robust College and Career Fair, a Meet and Greet celebration, and countless moments for Indigenous youth to explore their future.

That’s where we come in. Our Resolution Copper team volunteered all week — handing out custom NABI swag, cheering in the stands, and sharing career opportunities in mining. We also had the privilege of meeting students and families, and representing a company that believes in investing in Indigenous youth.

Fun fact: Some of our very own employees were once NABI athletes themselves. They know firsthand how the tournament inspires leadership, teamwork, and drive — values that serve them well today on the job site.

Resolution Copper is committed to being more than a sponsor. We’re partners in progress. Supporting Indigenous youth, education, and workforce development is part of our broader commitment to Native communities and Tribal partnerships.

As demand for copper grows, so does the need for a skilled, diverse, and local workforce. We’re proud to help the next generation see themselves not only on the court, but in careers that shape the future.
