Resolution Copper Donates $10,000 to Support Superior Families This Holiday Season
As families across Arizona prepare for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, Resolution Copper is proud to support the Superior Food Bank with an additional $10,000 gift to help keep shelves stocked and ensure Superior residents have access to essential food and supplies during this time of year.
Food insecurity continues to affect communities statewide, with one in every seven Arizonans struggling to secure consistent access to nutritious meals. In small rural communities like Superior, the local food bank plays a vital role in meeting those needs and providing families with stability and relief.
The Superior Food Bank expressed its appreciation for the contribution, noting the difference it will make during the holiday season.
“We are deeply grateful for Resolution Copper’s $10,000 donation, which will allow us to provide more families in Superior with the support they need during the holiday season,” Manny Guzman, Executive Director for Rebuild Superior shared. “This time of year, can be especially challenging for many households, and contributions like this help us ensure that no one in our community goes without food. We appreciate Resolution Copper’s continued commitment to helping local families and strengthening the well-being of our town.”
Mayor Mila Besich also highlighted the importance of strong partnerships and community support.
“We are grateful for Resolution Copper’s continued partnership and their generous donation to the Superior Food Bank. This support will make a real difference for families during the holiday season,” said Mayor Besich. “Superior is at its strongest when we work together, and contributions like this ensure our residents have the resources they need.”
Beyond financial support, Resolution Copper employees volunteer their time at the food bank nearly three to five times each month, helping pack food bags and assisting with regular distribution efforts. These ongoing volunteer commitments reflect the company’s dedication to being an active community partner throughout the year. Earlier this year, Resolution Copper donated $20,000 to the food bank.
Vicky Peacey, Resolution Copper’s General Manager and President, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting local families.
“At Resolution Copper, we believe strong communities are built through partnership, compassion, and showing up where it matters most. The Superior Food Bank plays an essential role for families across the region, especially during the holidays, and we are proud to support their important work.”
Resolution Copper remains committed to helping ensure that Superior families have the resources they need during the holidays and year-round and values the strong partnership with the Town of Superior and its community organizations.
