2025 Year-End Review: Progress, Partnership, and Purpose

2025 Year-End Review: Progress, Partnership, and Purpose

As 2025 comes to a close, Resolution Copper reflects on a year defined by progress, collaboration, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way. From major operational milestones underground to meaningful investments in local communities, this year marked another important step forward in responsibly advancing one of the most significant copper projects in the United States.

Safety First, Always
Safety remains the foundation of everything we do. In 2025, Resolution Copper was honored with the Rocky Mountain Mining Institute’s Safety Award for the fourth consecutive year, a recognition made possible by the dedication, discipline, and care our workforce and local contractors demonstrate every day. This achievement reflects a deeply embedded safety culture that puts people first.

Operational Milestones That Matter
This year brought significant progress across the site. The successful completion of major work at Shaft 10 highlighted the power of teamwork and operational excellence. We also completed the deepening and rehabilitation of the historic No. 9 Shaft, strengthening critical infrastructure that will support the project for decades to come. In addition, we are grateful to our local contractors for their exceptional work on the CP-105 cleanup, completed safely and efficiently through strong collaboration.

Permitting Progress and Transparency
In 2025, the U.S. Forest Service issued the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the Resolution Copper project, marking an important milestone after more than 11 years of independent environmental review and consultation. We were also proud to be included in the federal FAST-41 transparency initiative, reinforcing our commitment to openness and public accountability as we move through the federal permitting process.

Investing in Communities and Giving Back
Being a good neighbor is core to who we are. This year, Resolution Copper invested $4.9 million in local communities, supporting programs that strengthen education, workforce development, and regional infrastructure. Our employees also continued to lead, by example, volunteering countless hours at local food banks and providing critical support during the Globe-Miami floods. In response to the flooding, one of Resolution Copper’s owners, Rio Tinto, contributed $1 million to relief and recovery efforts, standing alongside communities during a time of real need.

Looking Ahead
As we enter 2026, Resolution Copper remains focused on advancing the project responsibly, strengthening partnerships with Native American Tribes and local communities, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental stewardship. The progress achieved in 2025 reflects the dedication of our workforce and the trust built through collaboration and transparency.

We are proud of what we accomplished together this year and remain committed to building a future that delivers lasting economic opportunity, community benefit, and a secure domestic supply of copper for generations to come.
