Applications must support the needs of the communities in areas where Resolution Copper operates. This includes Superior, Globe, Miami, San Carlos, Kearny, Winkelman, Hayden, Queen Valley, Apache Junction, Gold Canyon, and Florence.
AREAS WE DO NOT SUPPORT:
Resolution Copper will not provide social investments to the
following types of organizations and requests:
- Individuals
- Exclusive/Private Clubs
- Religious Congregations
- Tours and Entertainment Expenses
- Political Candidates or Political Action Committees
- Private Organizations or Institutions Controlled by Elected Officials
- Organizations or Institutions with Conflicts of Interest with Resolution Coppe
PROGRAM GUIDELINES FOR CORPORATE GIVING AND PARTNERSHIPS:
Programs must support the needs of the communities in areas where Resolution Copper operates. This includes Superior, Globe, Miami, Hayden, Kearny, Winkelman, Queen Valley, Apache Junction, Gold Canyon, and Sam Carlos and excludes all other major Valley cities.
Applicants must complete an online application found on the Resolution Copper website, outlining the program and its benefits, and include a specific funding request. Organizations may apply only twice per year, specifying the timeframe. In addition to the application, these partnership requests must contain:
- Nonprofit Status: All organizations must provide proof of nonprofit status qualification, with the exception of academic institutions.
- Employee Volunteerism: Applicants should indicate opportunities for employee volunteerism.
If Request for Funding is Approved:
- The organization must be set up as a vendor for Resolution Copper, which will require additional information and documentation.
- A signed agreement (specific to the funding or partnership) may be required.
QUARTERLY DEADLINES:
- First: February 1, 2024
- Second: May 1, 2024
- Third: August 1, 2024
- Fourth: November 1,2024
Applications are reviewed four to six weeks after the application deadline. They must be received at least twelve weeks before the date when the funding is needed.
