Q2 2026 Scorecard: Looking at the Numbers Behind Our Work

Every few months, we publish a scorecard to share where the project stands and what we’ve been working on. 

Numbers never tell the whole story, but they help show where we’re making progress, where we’re investing, and where our attention remains focused. 

This update includes year-to-date results through the second quarter of 2026, covering safety, local investment, environmental stewardship and community partnerships. 

Unless otherwise noted, all figures below represent year-to-date (YTD) performance through the second quarter of 2026. 

Safety comes first 

No matter what work is happening across the project, safety remains our highest priority. 

Through the first half of the year, we recorded three Lost Time Injuries, two Medical Treatment Cases. While we were recently honored to receive the 2025 Rocky Mountain Mining Institute Safety Award for the fifth year in a row, we know every incident matters and there’s always room to improve. Recognition is meaningful, but what matters most is making sure everyone goes home safely at the end of every shift. That’s why we continue learning from every incident, sharing lessons learned and looking for ways to strengthen our safety culture. 

Investing close to home 

Resolution Copper continues to be one of the largest private investments in rural Arizona, and much of that spending stays close to the project. So far this year, we’ve invested more than $130.9 million in project activities. 

About 25% of that spending, or $32.7 million, went to businesses located within 40 miles of the project. That means local contractors, suppliers, restaurants, equipment companies, and service providers continue to play an important role in supporting the project. 

Our workforce has deep roots in Arizona. Today, 89% of our employees and contractors live locally, including many from Superior, Globe, Miami, Kearny, San Carlos, and neighboring communities. They’re not just building this project. They’re raising families here, supporting local businesses, and giving back to the communities they call home. 

Stewardship is part of the work 

Environmental stewardship is part of the work we do every day. Learn more about how environmental stewardship is shaping the future of responsible mining. 

This year, we’ve recycled more than 183 million gallons of water and delivered it to the New Magma Irrigation & Drainage District, where it’s used to support agriculture. 

We’ve also invested nearly $700,000 in environmental monitoring and protection. That includes groundwater monitoring, wildlife and habitat programs, air quality monitoring and ongoing environmental studies. 

Some of this work happens behind the scenes. Crews have continued cleanup efforts along Highway 60, supported restoration work at Boyce Thompson Arboretum, completed cleanup projects around Hewitt Station, and hosted Community Monitoring Group events where local residents can learn more about environmental monitoring. 

Stewardship also means caring for places people use and enjoy. This year, we’ve invested approximately $130,000 in maintenance and improvements at Oak Flat Campground, helping keep the campground clean, safe and welcoming for visitors today and into the future. 

Supporting Arizona communities 

Community investment happens one partnership at a time. 

Through the second quarter, Resolution Copper invested $2.23 million across 62 community partnerships supporting education, workforce development, youth programs, recreation, tourism and economic development. 

Those partnerships include organizations like the Arizona Diamondbacks STEM Dugout program, Rebuild Superior, United Food Bank, the Belvado Memorial Association, the Town of Superior, the Town of Kearny, Superior Dance Company and the Boxed Up Project. 

Our employees have also contributed 741 volunteer hours this year, supporting food distributions, community cleanups, classroom activities and local events across Arizona.
