On November 14, we joined the White Mountain Apache Tribe to celebrate the start of a project that came straight from community voices. WMAT leaders asked for more spaces where kids could safely play outside. We listened. Together we built a plan to rehabilitate three basketball courts. One in East Fork and two in Cibecue.
In August, our underground team had anything but a typical day. While working in the 10 Hoist House, they spotted something unexpected, a baby coatimundi, curled up and clearly in distress. She was tiny, dehydrated, and very lost.
Resolution Copper welcomes today’s republication of the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) by the U.S. Forest Service (USFS)—a positive step forward for the project. This republication allows the USFS to advance the congressionally mandated land exchange, enabling future underground mine development and placing thousands of acres of land into permanent conservation.
